| This is an incredibly detailed and lyrical description of a plan to save Yosemite Park by removing the roads and building a solar-powered electric railway into the park, from the largest nearby city (Merced CA, in the Central Valley). This is the kind of book that you wish you could live in, and I didn't want to stop reading it. The book is currently out of print; I found a copy through Booksearch. | ||
